Overview

IN-RGY was in the midst of a rebrand and needed a modern website to reflect their new direction. I was given the opportunity to help bring that vision to life. With no prior experience in UX design, it was a challenging but rewarding introduction to a whole new side of design. The finished product is a simple yet visually appealing website propelling their new and improved brand forward.

Prototype

I started sketching the basic wireframes and core features to get a better idea of how the website should look. After researching competitor products and discussing more with my team, I had a better understanding of our target market and what IN-RGY was looking for. From there, I designed low-fidelity wireframes and developed a clearer image of what was expected.

Learnings

As my first dive into UX design, this project was a major learning experience. One of my biggest takeaways was becoming confident in Adobe XD, despite starting from scratch. The steep learning curve pushed me to adapt quickly, think on my feet, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I also learned the importance of staying flexible and not getting too attached to design ideas, as they may not always be technically feasible. Feedback played a crucial role in refining the design and contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth.
